Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee we would like to invite you for the participation in the
6^th International Conference on Research in Didactics of the Sciences, DidSci 2014,
organized by Group of Chemistry and Education of Chemistry, Faculty of Geography and Biology, Pedagogical University, Kraków, Poland.
The conference will be held from June 25^th trough June 27^th 2014 in Kraków, Poland.

The meeting is a continuation of a long-term cooperation among scientists and teachers from all over the world sharing a scientific interest in natural sciences education.

A major objective of the conference will be to develop a platform for mutual scientific contacts between researchers, teachers and students of natural sciences from European and other countries, and to foster future collaborations between scientists in these countries. It is also an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences obtained at every level of education - from primary school to higher education.

We would like to offer various forms of presentation of your didactics work: keynote speeches, announcements, workshops and poster sessions. Submitted abstracts will be initially reviewed. The conference languages are English (preferred), Polish, Czech, Slovak and Russian.

Conference fee

All presenting authors MUST register by paying the corresponding conference fees according to their status.
In that case, co-authors may or may not register depending on their will to attend the conference.
The students must provide letters from their supervisors.

* In frames of the conference fee, you can publish maximum of two articles of up to 5 pages each. Each additional page of the the article costs 10 euros. The publication of the third article costs 50 euro.

** Instead of two short (5 pages) articles, it is possible to publish a paper with a capacity of 40,000 characters. Print of this article will be possible after earlier recommendation by the Scientific Committee.

*** The conference fee does not include accommodation costs. Conference participants should arrange their accommodation and payment by their own.

The invoice
Under current rules, the conference organizer is obliged to issue a VAT invoice within 7 days from the date of payment only on the institution who made the payment to the account of the Pedagogical University Kraków. If a payer is a natural person we issue the VAT invoice on request made within 7 days from the date of payment.
If you wish to receive an invoice please indicate this fact during registration process and please provide us with necessary data.

*The invoice will be issued for making the transfer (If payment is made with a personal account, the participant receives the invoice in his name, but then can not receive an invoice to the university and vice versa).

Cancellation policy 
There will be 50% refund for cancellation before 1st May 2014 but there will no refund after this date.
Written notification of cancellation must be sent by mail or fax

Wszyscy uczestnicy konferencji powinni opłacić opłaty konferencyjne adekwatnie do ich statusu rejestracji (data, student ...). 

Streszczenia wystąpień i posterów zostaną opublikowane w książce abstraktów tylko w przypadku, gdy opłata została zostanie opłacona do - 05.05.2014

Rejestracja jest wymagana dla wszystkich uczestników konferencji. Prosimy o zarejestrowanie się na stronie internetowej konferencji jak najszybciej.

W tym wypadku organizatorzy nie gwarantują umieszczenia abstraktu w książce abstraktów;
